Statement of Position Concerning Resale Companies and Resale Offers

From time to time Escapes!, Inc. (“Escapes”) obtains information that persons purporting to represent various timeshare resellers have approached Escapes’ timeshare owners to discuss the rental, listing and / or sale of such owners’ timeshare(s).

Escapes does not provide to any resale company the personally identifiable information (e.g., owner names, phone numbers, addresses, etc.) of Escapes’ timeshare owners. Further, Escapes is not affiliated with any third party resale company, nor does Escapes endorse any resale company or its activities. Any representations by any resale agent to the contrary are false.

If you have been approached by a timeshare resale company, you may wish to inquire concerning the reseller’s reported activities with the Better Business Bureau, the applicable state Real Estate Commission, the Division of Business and Professional Responsibility, and / or the Attorney General in the state in which the reseller is headquartered, in the state in which your timeshare is located, and in the state in which you received the call.

Any transaction which you enter with a timeshare reseller is entered at your own risk, and Escapes cannot and does not provide advice as to the individual merits of any particular transaction that you may wish to enter with a particular timeshare reseller.
